• The wave function, denoted as 𝜓 (Psi), is a mathematical description used in quantum mechanics to represent the behavior of particles like electrons.
• It's a function that depends on spatial coordinates (x, y, z) and time (t), i.e., 𝜓 = 𝜓(x, y, z, t).
• It's responsible for describing the probability distribution of finding a particle in different locations and times.
